Hello Spack Onstage!
I wanted to start off by saying thank you. Thank you, for all the kind words I received yesterday after the announcement. They were very heartwarming to see, especially since they came from current students and parents as well as alumni. This year is going to be somewhat challenging, but equally fun nonetheless. My goal is to bring back the creative, fun, and educational environment that shaped my high school years, causing me to actively pursue teaching/directing as a career. My time at Spack Onstage as a student was some of the most fun I have ever had, but that time is over. I am here now to provide that same level of fun to the current students while still giving deeper insight into theatre for those who might wish to pursue it in the future. That being said, it is time to get to work, and as the old saying goes: “all hands on deck!” In order for this year to be successful, we need all of us to work together, and that starts with a meeting to discuss the upcoming year. We are going to be holding a general meeting in person for both students and parents on August 17th, at 7:00pm. We need to grow our organization with your help, please spread the word. During this time we will discuss what the year is going to look like and announce important dates, and possibly even more than that haha! I hope to see you all there, and again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a warm welcome!
